Description For Integration & Test Engineer

Auria, a leading provider of Space, National Security, and Cyber mission solutions, is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer for their Wideband Global Satellite Communications (SATCOM) program. Based in Colorado Springs, this role combines software development and testing expertise with space systems knowledge. The position involves developing automated tests, verifying system requirements, and conducting formal test events with government stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will work with message buses, database systems, and SOAP messaging, while creating automated testing scripts using tools like Eggplant and Python. This role requires strong technical skills, security clearance eligibility, and experience with agile development methodologies. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge space technologies and satellite communication systems.

Responsibilities For Integration & Test Engineer

  • Integrate and troubleshoot message buses, database access, SOAP messaging, Python procs
  • Analyze space to ground ICD for configurable digital telemetry functions
  • Create automated testing scripts using Eggplant or similar language
  • Design, develop, and implement manual and automated software unit and system-level tests
  • Determine verification approach for system requirements
  • Conduct formal test events at customer sites with government witnesses

Requirements For Integration & Test Engineer

Python
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
  • Experience with automated testing tools and Python/Eggplant
  • Experience working within an agile system development framework
  • Ability to isolate and resolve complex problems
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with M.S. Office Products
