Description For Network Engineer (Integration/CDS)

Auria, a leading provider of solutions and software for complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions, is seeking a Network Engineer (Integration/CDS) to support their Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program in Colorado Springs, CO. This role requires an active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

The ideal candidate will have 9 years of experience with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. Key responsibilities include developing and managing Radiant Mercury Configuration, network management and monitoring systems, and implementing DoD security practices.

You'll work on large field projects, both independently and collaboratively with other integration engineers. Travel to remote locations for CDS installations may be required. Strong communication skills and experience with tools like Ansible, PowerPoint, and Visio are essential.

Responsibilities For Network Engineer (Integration/CDS)

  • Responsible for development, configuration control, deployment, and testing of Radiant Mercury Configuration (including Rules)
  • Network Management and Monitoring Systems
  • Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated integration engineers and independently on large field projects
  • May be required to travel to remote locations to perform CDS installations in accordance with Program configuration management processes, independently perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel

Requirements For Network Engineer (Integration/CDS)

Linux
  • An active Top-Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
  • 9 years' experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; 7 years' experience with a master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; or 13 years' experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
  • Network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting experience
  • Effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools
  • Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools
