Description For PRISM/Requirements Lead (Staff System Engineer)

Auria is looking to hire a PRISM/Requirements Lead (Staff Systems Engineer 5) to join our team and support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program in either Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL.

The role involves providing Systems Engineering leadership to ensure a disciplined system engineering approach to defining, developing, and analyzing the system's capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in developing, executing, and analyzing software tests in a lab environment
  • Coordinating engineering disciplines to resolve system-level issues
  • Leading the PRISM team and reporting to the SE Engineering Manager
  • Maintaining accurate metrics of team progress
  • Supporting team staffing responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with PRISM team processes
  • Managing daily operations of the PRISM team

Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • 12 years' experience with a bachelor's degree or 10 years' experience with a master's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field
  • Strong system engineering and proven leadership experience
  • Experience in system engineering for large, complex systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

The role involves some travel, primarily between Huntsville and Colorado Springs, and trips to Schriever Space Force Base.
