Software Verification Test Engineer

Auria is looking to hire a Software Verification Test Engineer to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. The primary work location is in Colorado Springs, CO.

As a member of the Mission Applications Enterprise Services Product Team of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC), this position will participate in software design and peer reviews, develop test specifications and infrastructure, execute manual and automated test and perform analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate lab resources, test results, and verification status with the C2BMC program and customers.
• Work effectively in a small technical team environment and represent test perspectives to various stakeholders.
• Apply DoD test methodologies.
• Plan and execute functional capability-related tests, data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance required to start.
• 5 years' experience with a bachelor's degree or 3 years' experience with a master's degree in relevant fields, or 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in testing and evaluating software-intensive systems using Agile development.
• Proficiency in automated requirement verification, performance assessment testing, and deficiency reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher.
• Master's degree with 3 years experience.
• Experience in a DevSecOps environment.

Salary Range: $99,000 - $113,000, based on qualifications.
