Responsibilities For System Engineer

  • Establish new interfaces between external elements, including space and terrestrial sensors
  • Create and capture requirements in DOORS
  • Develop behavioral diagrams for requirements and interface behavior
  • Develop and update Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Design Documents
  • Attend interface working group meetings with MDA customers
  • Support program integration and test-related efforts
  • Support spiral leadership for interface artifacts and system assessment tasks

Requirements For System Engineer

  • Current/active security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5 years experience, or Master's with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year, or 9 years experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering
  • Experience with Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Design Documents (IDDs)
  • Knowledge of message formatting (XML, VMF)
  • Understanding of ISO OSI model and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
  • Experience with IBM Rational DOORS
