System Engineer - C2BMC (HSV)

Auria is looking to hire System Engineers to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. Work location is in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidates will perform work under the direction of the Systems Engineering Lead and multiple product owners, interfacing with team members, C2BMC management, and government customers to ensure high-quality products are generated on time and within available resources.

Essential Functions:

• Provide use case briefing development support to junior systems engineering team members
• Adhere to DOORS processes and procedures, reviewing technical products
• Support development and review of interface documents, system/subsystem requirements, VCRM development
• Participate in Agile development efforts, including iteration planning and team leadership
• Analyze high-level needs and define structured approaches to refine capabilities into integrated requirements
• Communicate technical approaches and findings, write and implement project engineering plans

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5+ years experience, Master's with 3 years, or PhD with 0 years
• Current active DoD issued SECRET security clearance
• Understanding of systems engineering processes and principles
• Experience in integrated team environments and applying system engineering principles
• Experience decomposing requirements and developing system engineering artifacts
• Ability to write and implement engineering plans
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile development environments
• Domain experience with Space and Missile Defense

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 based on qualifications
