Auria is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Space Systems & Cyber team in multiple locations. The role focuses on developing web-based microservices for command and control of space operations in a containerized environment for the US Space Force. The position involves working with cutting-edge cloud native technologies and applying agile methodologies for rapid, high-quality delivery.
The ideal candidate will bring strong systems engineering expertise, with the ability to manage risks, generate requirements, and develop testing strategies. Responsibilities For Systems Engineer
- Perform system evaluations, analyzing and establishing system risks, test methodologies, and interface definitions
- Analyze and update interface standards
- Document architecture design such as services, functions, and data flows
- Document interfaces standards and system data requirements
- Monitor and facilitate resolution of system development risks and dependencies
- Plan and organize test events, demonstrations and system releases
- Support program schedule refinement
Requirements For Systems Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Familiar with or ability to learn documentation generation tools like LateX, Sphinx, PlantUML, Pyreverse
- Expert in systems engineering functions including risk management, requirements generation and testing strategies
- Communications skills to collaborate with operators, program office staff, external entities
- Understanding of microservice architectures and web services employing messaging and REST API's
- 5+ total years of related experience
- U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance of TS/SCI
