Description For Systems Engineer

Responsibilities For Systems Engineer

  • Perform system evaluations, analyzing and establishing system risks, test methodologies, and interface definitions
  • Analyze and update interface standards
  • Document architecture design such as services, functions, and data flows
  • Document interfaces standards and system data requirements
  • Monitor and facilitate resolution of system development risks and dependencies
  • Plan and organize test events, demonstrations and system releases
  • Support program schedule refinement

Requirements For Systems Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
  • Familiar with or ability to learn documentation generation tools like LateX, Sphinx, PlantUML, Pyreverse
  • Expert in systems engineering functions including risk management, requirements generation and testing strategies
  • Communications skills to collaborate with operators, program office staff, external entities
  • Understanding of microservice architectures and web services employing messaging and REST API's
  • 5+ total years of related experience
  • U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance of TS/SCI
