Auria is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Space Systems & Cyber team in multiple locations across the United States. This role focuses on developing web-based microservices for command and control of space operations in a containerized environment for the US Space Force. The position involves working with cutting-edge cloud native technologies and applying agile methodologies to solve complex space operations challenges.
The ideal candidate will bring strong systems engineering expertise, with the ability to manage risks, generate requirements, and develop testing strategies. They will work on documenting architecture designs, interface standards, and system data requirements while collaborating with various stakeholders including operators and program office staff.

Responsibilities For Systems Engineer
- Perform system evaluations, analyzing and establishing system risks, test methodologies, and interface definitions
- Analyze and update interface standards
- Document architecture design such as services, functions, and data flows
- Document interfaces standards and system data requirements
- Monitor and facilitate resolution of system development risks and dependencies
- Plan and organize test events, demonstrations and system releases
- Support program schedule refinement
Requirements For Systems Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Familiar with or ability to learn documentation generation tools like LateX, Sphinx, PlantUML, Pyreverse
- Expert in systems engineering functions to include risk management, requirements generation and testing strategies
- Communications skills to collaborate with operators, program office staff, external entities
- Understanding of microservice architectures and web services employing messaging and REST API's
- 5+ total years of related experience
- U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance of TS/SCI
