The role involves defining requirements at system, subsystem, and hardware module levels, focusing on Thermal and allied systems. Key responsibilities include driving technical discussions, managing requirement traceability, developing system FMEAs, facilitating cross-functional system development activities, and executing system-level testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in systems engineering, test planning and execution, and the ability to quickly understand system architecture and product specifications. Experience in autonomous driving technology and robotics is desirable. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Aurora offers a competitive salary range of $141,000 - $211,000 per year, along with bonus eligibility, equity compensation, and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, or Computer Science Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. They should have at least 2 years of industry experience in systems engineering and system test planning and execution. Familiarity with automotive design, qualification, validation, and reliability requirements is a plus.
