Research Engineer / Scientist

Avra, a cutting-edge deep tech data intelligence platform, is seeking a Research Engineer/Scientist to join their innovative team. Founded in 2024 by ex-OpenAI talent, Avra develops proprietary foundational AI models serving leading banks and fintechs across Latin America.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of AI research, building and optimizing complete ML pipelines from data collection to production monitoring. You'll work on developing novel architectures, fine-tuning foundational models, and creating innovative solutions with massive datasets. The position offers collaboration with global AI advisors and joins a team recognized by AWS as one of three model builders in LATAM.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with deep expertise in PyTorch and large-scale ML systems. You'll need a strong academic background in quantitative fields and proven ability to translate complex research into practical solutions.
