Responsibilities For WordPress Developer
- Triaging bugs and small enhancements in GitHub
- Scoping, writing, and testing new product features and addons
- Refactoring legacy code with attention to backwards compatibility
- Providing feedback and peer review for other developers
- Communicating with the team and supporting peers
Requirements For WordPress Developer
- Professional experience with WordPress plugin development, architecture, and standards
- Advanced proficiency with PHP and MySQL
- Strong familiarity with JavaScript
- Ability to use build tools like gulp and webpack
- Experience with package managers (Composer and NPM)
- Experience working with third-party APIs
- Competent with version control through git and GitHub
- Previous freelance or remote work experience
- Availability for meetings between 9 am - 5 pm EST
