Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Awin, you'll be part of the Advertiser tribe, working on extending and maintaining their Affiliate Marketing platform. You'll collaborate within a cross-functional, service-oriented team, writing clean, secure, and well-tested code. The role involves working through the entire lifecycle of services and products, from understanding requirements to deployment and maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating in an agile team, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Enhancing existing applications and contributing to new solutions
• Writing high-quality code and participating in code reviews
• Shaping technical direction and championing best practices
• Working closely with Product Managers to translate user stories into technical features
• Tackling complex business logic challenges

The team currently uses PHP and on-premises hosting but is exploring Java and AWS for future projects. You'll need at least 6 years of commercial Software Engineering experience, proficiency in PHP, and a strong understanding of distributed systems and microservice architecture. Experience with Java, cloud technologies, and front-end frameworks is a plus.
