AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their APAC Controls Deployment Team. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure, specifically focusing on data center building automation systems. The position involves deploying and supporting Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) across AWS data centers.
As a Controls Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of keeping AWS's cloud infrastructure running smoothly. You'll work with diverse teams including software, hardware, and network engineers, while collaborating with construction, commissioning, and operations teams. The role requires expertise in control system integration, PLC/SCADA programming, and project management.
The ideal candidate will have experience with various control systems like Siemens Apogee, Honeywell Building Controls, or Schneider Electric Struxureware. Knowledge of industrial protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and MQTT is valuable. A background in critical environments, particularly data centers, is preferred.
