Description For Controls Manager, Australia & New Zealand Controls Deployment and Service

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Controls Manager for the Australia & New Zealand region, you'll be part of the team that keeps the cloud running by managing data center control systems.

The role involves overseeing the Data Center Capacity Delivery Asia-Pacific Controls Deployment and Service (DCCD APAC CDS) team, which delivers and services control systems monitoring data center health. You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing building automation systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
  • Supervising Engineers and other CDS Managers in your geographical sub-region
  • Partnering with multiple teams including Delivery, Operations, Procurement, and Design
  • Ensuring timely deployment of data center controls with minimal defects
  • Managing critical upgrade projects and providing technical guidance
  • Handling service and support for various operational events
  • Meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Conducting performance reviews and team management duties
