AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of Amazon's cloud operations, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This role as a Colo Regional Engineer involves driving Mechanical/Electrical Engineering services, construction, and implementation of enterprise data centers worldwide. You'll work directly with Design Engineering Stakeholders, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams both regionally and globally.
The position requires leading projects to outfit data centers to meet evolving customer needs during fleet expansion. You'll be the engineering representative for the Data Center Colo Engineering Team, involved in site selection, planning, and development. The role demands evaluation of mechanical/electrical systems and making data-driven decisions based on AWS guidelines.
