AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a High Voltage Commissioning Engineer (CxE) to join their Data Center Commissioning (ACx) team. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of AWS Substations and Data Centers across the APJC region and globally. As part of AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, you'll be responsible for keeping the cloud growing through critical infrastructure management.
The position requires a strong background in Critical Infrastructure Commissioning Processes, with responsibilities spanning system validation, project management, and technical oversight. You'll work with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, managing and supporting commissioning vendors and contractors involved in various systems including high, medium and low voltage power systems, Generators, UPS, HVAC, and more.
Key aspects of the role include reviewing and validating system performance, managing concurrent projects across multiple geographical regions, and ensuring all commissioning procedures adhere to safety standards. You'll be expected to provide technical leadership in reviewing construction documentation, developing test procedures, and maintaining quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in High Voltage Commissioning or related fields, with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
