Network Development Engineer, CLOS Fabric Engineering - Availability, Routing and Compliance

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their Network Fabric Engineering (NFE) team within Core Networking. This role is crucial in building, deploying, and scaling Amazon networks that support AWS across multiple global datacenters. The position focuses on delivering simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions for next-generation IP networks.

As part of the Availability, Routing and Compliance (ARC) team, you'll be responsible for ensuring network security compliance and maintaining optimal performance during both planned and unplanned events. You'll work with diverse teams of software, hardware, and network engineers, collaborating on challenging problems that impact global infrastructure.

The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic thinking, requiring expertise in network operations, Unix systems, and automation. The position includes participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation and working closely with various engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment of new designs and products.
