Description For Network Development Engineer, Datacentre Fabrics - Product Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their Network Fabric Engineering (NFE) team. This role is crucial in building, deploying, and scaling Amazon networks that support AWS, customers, and other business units across multiple global datacenters.

The Core Networking team focuses on building Data Centers and the network infrastructure that enables efficient operation. As a Network Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all network fabrics supporting Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments, and multiple AWS services. You'll work on creating simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality while ensuring network standards are maintained.

Requirements For Network Development Engineer, Datacentre Fabrics - Product Engineering

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in a large-scale network environment
  • 1+ years experience in network focused hands-on technical role
  • 1+ years Unix/Linux command line experience
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, Server Load Balancing
  • Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with customers to diagnose and resolve problems
