Solutions Architect, ASEAN Public Sector Solutions Architecture Team

AWS is seeking a Solutions Architect for the ASEAN Public Sector team, based in Singapore. This role involves working with customers from government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations across all stages of their cloud journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with customers, partners, and other AWS teams to craft architectures, proof of concepts, and demonstrations.
• Shaping and designing solutions covering various domains, from core enterprise application migration to AI/ML, microservices, containers, app development, and IoT.
• Acting as a trusted technical advisor, influencing stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
• Evangelizing in the wider community through education, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers and blogs, and running workshops.
• Gathering feedback from customers and collaborating with engineering and service teams to shape AWS products and services.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in roles such as Technology Architect, Consultant, Cloud Architect, Technical Lead, Software Developer, Engineering Lead, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
• Deep understanding of one or more technology areas, with knowledge in multiple domains.
• Ability to create proof of concepts, demos, and scripts.
• Understanding of common architectural patterns and design principles.
• Experience leading complex technical projects.
• Skill in creating easily adopted and reusable technical content.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in architecting, migrating, or transforming customer requirements to the cloud.
• Professional experience with AWS solutions.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate).
• Demonstrated thought leadership through public speaking and/or publications.
