AWS is launching its first European Sovereign Cloud (ESC), a groundbreaking initiative in utility computing. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join AWS Managed Operations team, where you'll be instrumental in building and leading teams focused on delivering high-availability AWS services specifically for EU customers. The position involves working with core AWS services like EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, and Bedrock.

As a Systems Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of the ESC launch in 2025, collaborating with global AWS teams and shaping the evolution of AWS services. Your daily responsibilities will include working with technology leaders, enhancing operations, and ensuring optimal service performance across availability, reliability, latency, and efficiency metrics.
