The company is seeking a Staff Circuit Design Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to developing state-of-the-art computer boards.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, focusing on ARM and x86-based architectures. As a Staff Circuit Designer, you'll be responsible for leading system architecture development, overseeing schematic design, and working closely with various engineering teams to optimize complex circuit board layouts. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll be expected to mentor team members while handling hands-on design responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of hands-on experience in circuit design, with a proven track record in delivering complex, high-performance products to market. Technical expertise should include mastery of hardware and layout design tools, strong knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity, and experience with simulation tools. The role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities For Staff Engineer - Circuit Design

  • Lead system architecture definition for ARM and x86-based computer boards
  • Oversee schematic design and translate architectural concepts into detailed circuit schematics
  • Collaborate with Layout and Thermal engineers for complex circuit board optimization
  • Evaluate and select optimal components including voltage regulators, microprocessors, and interfaces
  • Conduct power and signal integrity simulations
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the design team
  • Develop technical documentation and specifications
  • Design prototypes and technical Proof of Concept through Electronic Manufacturing Services

Requirements For Staff Engineer - Circuit Design

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in circuit design
  • Mastery of hardware and layout design tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Siemens Xpedition)
  • Expertise in signal integrity and power integrity
  • Experience with simulation tools like Siemens HyperLynx and Keysight ADS
  • Knowledge of microprocessors, memory modules, and interfaces
  • Experience with electronics lab tools
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
