Your responsibilities will span from researching and developing subsystems for body-worn and vehicular cameras to designing mixed-signal electronic circuits and collaborating with PCB engineers. You'll use sophisticated lab equipment for testing and debugging, while ensuring compliance with product and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in portable, battery-powered embedded circuit design, with strong proficiency in analog and digital circuit design. You'll need expertise with microcontroller-based electronics and power supply design, along with hands-on experience using laboratory tools.

Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer - Video Systems

  • Research and develop subsystems for body worn and vehicular camera products
  • Review and assess design requirements for circuit design
  • Design embedded Mixed-Signal/Analog/Digital electronic circuits
  • Collaborate with PCB engineers on board layout designs
  • Create test plans and methods for evaluating designs
  • Debug systems using lab tools like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
  • Evaluate circuit performance and regulatory compliance
  • Develop Bill of Materials and design documentation
  • Work with component partners for electronics evaluation

Requirements For Electrical Engineer - Video Systems

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of portable, battery-powered embedded circuit design
  • Strong proficiency in analog and digital circuit design
  • Experience with microcontroller-based electronics designs
  • Power supply design experience
  • Proficient with laboratory tools (Oscilloscope, power supplies, multimeters)
  • Schematic design experience with tools like Cadence/OrCAD Capture
  • Experience with PCB and Flexible PCB design
  • Experience working in cross-functional and globally diverse engineering teams
