Platform Firmware Engineer

Axon is seeking a Senior Platform Firmware Engineer to join their mission of protecting life through innovative technology solutions. This role involves developing firmware for AIoT infrastructure, working with embedded Linux systems, and creating solutions for camera-based products. The position offers work on career-defining new programs starting in 2024-2025 that will synthesize all of Axon's technologies into revolutionary offerings.

The role requires expertise in embedded systems, working with both Linux-based SoCs and microcontrollers, and developing firmware for various wireless technologies including WiFi, Bluetooth, and Cellular systems. You'll be part of a team focusing on platform firmware that supports all of Axon's camera-based products, with key ownership of Cellular LTE Link and Automated Test Systems.

The position offers a hybrid work environment based out of Seattle or Scottsdale, with approximately 10% travel to various locations including Boston, Brussels, or Finland. You'll work with cutting-edge technology, collaborating with hardware engineers and various teams across the organization.
