Platform Firmware Engineer

Axon is seeking a Platform Firmware Engineer to join their mission of protecting life through innovative technology solutions. This role is part of the Platform Firmware development team, focusing on camera-based products and cellular LTE connectivity. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on career-defining new programs launching in 2024 and 2025, synthesizing all of Axon's technologies into revolutionary offerings.

The role combines remote work flexibility with access to local Axon hubs in Boston, Seattle, or Scottsdale. Engineers will work primarily with Embedded Linux (C, C++, Golang, Yocto) and RTOS on Microcontrollers, with emerging opportunities in Rust development. The position requires occasional travel (10%) for hardware collaboration and manufacturing support.

As a Platform Firmware Engineer, you'll contribute to AIoT device-level infrastructure, develop firmware for various systems including SoCs, microcontrollers, and RF technologies, and work on critical power management and safety features.
