Axon is seeking a highly personable and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join their Global Sales Engineering Team. The role involves supporting sales campaigns to communicate the value of and deploy evidence capture devices, digital evidence management solutions, SaaS, and on-premise solutions to Public Safety Agencies across Central Asia & Japan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting technical and value aspects of sales efforts
- Facilitating smooth transition of sales opportunities into successful delivery
- Documenting customer feature requests and providing feedback
- Presenting at industry events
- Developing in-depth technical knowledge of Axon products
- Providing support for product Test and Evaluations
- Executing customer site assessments
- Transferring knowledge to customers and colleagues
The ideal candidate should have:
- A natural aptitude for technology and excellent communication skills
- Confidence to drive customers to successful outcomes
- Self-starter mentality
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- 3+ years experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of network technologies and IP stack
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms
- Project management skills for successful PoCs
