Responsibilities For Senior Security Engineer
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain automated security tooling
- Participate in on-call rotation to investigate and remediate security events
- Evaluate and integrate new security tools and technologies
- Mentor junior team members
- Partner with teams to design and build scalable security solutions
- Engineer automated solutions for security attack detection
- Lead complex tasks and projects
- Follow software development best practices
- Provide input to Information Security Program strategy
Requirements For Senior Security Engineer
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Understanding of modern, distributed cloud-based applications
- Fluency in Python or Golang, and shell scripting
- Deep familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
- Experience in security best practices
- Experience responding to security events and incidents
- Experience with cloud-based APIs and infrastructure
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must pass FBI background check
