Senior Application Security Engineer

This role combines software engineering expertise with security specialization, focusing on integrating security seamlessly into the development lifecycle.

The position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work remotely while having access to Axon's R&D Hubs in Seattle, Scottsdale, San Francisco, Atlanta, or Boston. The compensation is competitive, ranging from $152,850 to $244,560, depending on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits.

As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of securing Axon's ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Your responsibilities will span from building security automation tools for CI/CD pipelines to mentoring development teams on secure coding practices. You'll work with modern technologies including Python, Java, Go, and cloud platforms, while leveraging security tools like SAST, DAST, and SCA scanners.

The ideal candidate brings strong software development experience combined with deep security expertise. You'll need proficiency in programming languages, modern development workflows, and security tools.
