Senior Frontend Engineer

Axon is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their mission of protecting life through innovative technology solutions. This role is crucial in developing user experiences for public safety agencies across 90 countries, focusing on video evidence management and analysis tools.

The position offers an opportunity to work on significant projects like the universal video player integration across Axon's products, including Evidence.com. You'll be responsible for creating intuitive, well-tested, and performant UI components that enable law enforcement agencies to efficiently review, analyze, and share evidence.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll collaborate with teams across the US and Vietnam, working closely with Product Managers to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions. The role requires expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, along with a strong foundation in front-end development principles and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of professional software development experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. You'll need to be an excellent communicator who can make complex technical concepts accessible to various audiences. Experience with video technologies (Players, DRM, DASH, HLS) is a plus.
