Key responsibilities include developing simulation scenarios, collaborating with hardware and software teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and staying current with robotics simulation technologies. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Robotics or Computer Science with 8 years of experience (or an advanced degree with 4-6 years), proficiency in languages like Python, C++, or Rust, and a strong understanding of robotics principles. Responsibilities For Senior Robotics Simulation Engineer

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced simulation environments for drone technologies
  • Develop and implement simulation scenarios to test drone performance
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Stay current with robotics simulation technologies
  • Involvement in requirements, testing and release procedures
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers

Requirements For Senior Robotics Simulation Engineer

Rust
  • Degree in Robotics, Computer science, or related discipline
  • 8 years of applied experience in robotics simulation (or advanced Degree with 4-6 years)
  • Significant industrial experience with robotics system architectures and systems integration
  • Proficiency with Python and C, C++ or Rust
  • Understanding of robotics principles (kinematics, dynamics, control systems)
  • Experience developing complex simulation environments
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • English proficiency (French and/or Dutch a plus)
