Description For Senior Software Engineer - Real Time Operations (RTO) Integrations

Axon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Real Time Operations (RTO) Integrations team, focusing on the Axon Fusus product - a real-time crime center platform. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, working on critical integrations with cameras, drones, vehicle tracking systems, and law enforcement software. The position offers a unique opportunity to impact public safety while working with cutting-edge technology.

The ideal candidate will lead the implementation of scalable integrations, working closely with product managers and designers to deliver highly available solutions. You'll be instrumental in shaping team culture and engineering processes, while mentoring other engineers. The role requires expertise in Python, Django, and cloud technologies, with a focus on building robust, mission-critical systems.

Working in a hybrid environment, you'll have the flexibility to work remotely while having access to R&D hubs in Atlanta or Seattle for collaborative sessions. The compensation is competitive, ranging from $120,000 to $210,000, complemented by comprehensive benefits including healthcare, 401k matching, and professional development opportunities.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to combine technical excellence with meaningful impact, working on solutions that directly support first responders and public safety. The role offers significant growth potential within a mission-driven organization that values diversity, innovation, and positive societal impact.
