Senior Video Electrical Engineer

As a Senior member of the Video Electrical Engineering team, you will drive and engage in innovative hands-on design, development, and testing of cutting-edge electronics that are integral to Axon Video Products. Your extensive technical expertise, deep understanding of engineering processes, genuine passion for technology, and a demonstrated ownership mindset will be instrumental to successful designs that exceed the rigorous requirements demanded by our customers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Researching, proposing, and developing creative, industry-leading circuit designs for products such as in-vehicle camera systems and wirelessly connected Body Worn Cameras.
• Designing embedded Mixed-Signal electronic circuits using OrCAD Schematic tools.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to own electronics development through full product lifecycles.
• Leading schematic and layout design inspections to improve quality and reliability.
• Bringing up, characterizing, and debugging systems using lab tools.
• Optimizing performance of electronics design using simulation tools and hands-on measurements.
• Mentoring and elevating skills of team members.

We're looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
• 9+ years of industry-leading electronics design experience
• Expertise in high-speed circuit design, verification testing, and various electronic subsystems
• Strong schematic design skills and collaboration with PCB engineers
• Experience with regulatory standards and managing design partners

Axon offers competitive compensation, including base pay between USD 106,000 and USD 205,000 depending on the geographic market, along with bonus and stock awards.
