Technical Lead, Privacy

As a Technical Lead on the Privacy team, you'll be intimately involved in architecture decisions shaping privacy tools and services. You'll work with cloud services requiring high availability and fast, consistent performance, leveraging the latest privacy enhancing technologies. Your role involves driving decisions among competing engineering trade-offs, working closely with product managers and designers, and mentoring other engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain back-end systems and services for privacy and data compliance across the Axon ecosystem
• Lead design reviews and make technology decisions
• Triage and resolve product or system issues
• Mentor engineers
• Work with the latest open source technologies

We're looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems on Azure, AWS, or other public cloud infrastructure
• Expertise in areas such as data pipelines for privacy processes, data anonymization tools, system-to-system communication, microservices, and backend services in languages like Java, Scala, Go, C#, or Python

Axon offers competitive compensation, including base pay between USD 127,350 and USD 203,760, depending on the geographic market, plus bonus and stock awards.
