Description For Quality Assurance Engineer

B2C2 is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. The role involves contributing to the build-out of strategic functional and non-functional test frameworks and tooling, balancing this with prioritized release and project testing. As a member of multiple agile teams and the QA horizontal, you will work closely with developers and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and maintaining regression test packs
  • Contributing to tooling and test frameworks for functional and non-functional testing
  • Owning testing and quality assurance for multiple project teams
  • Delivering system and integration testing for releases
  • Facilitating user acceptance testing for high-risk projects
  • Building automated tests for new and existing systems
  • Reporting test results to project stakeholders
  • Assisting with issue reproduction and fix testing
  • Maintaining manual and automated test cases

Required skills:

  • Development of test automation frameworks for complex systems
  • Java coding and Java-based test automation framework development
  • Non-functional testing tooling
  • Risk-based test analysis and case creation
  • Complex issue investigation across system stacks

Preferred skills include experience with Cucumber, Python, Rust, high-frequency trading systems, KDB and Q, AWS, Kubernetes, and various trading and middleware protocols.
