Bandwidth, a leading provider of messaging, voice, and emergency service connectivity, is seeking an Entry-Level Solutions Engineer to join their Enterprise Market team. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on pre-sales engineering and solution design for enterprise clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in telecom engineering, particularly in SIP Voice interconnection and VoIP technologies. You'll work closely with various teams including Sales, Product Management, and Developers to create and implement solutions for prospects and customers. Your role will be crucial in bridging technical capabilities with business needs, requiring both technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities For Solutions Engineer

  • Provide technical pre-sale support across the Enterprise Sales organization
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Developers to create and deliver solutions
  • Gather, analyze, and share customer technical information and feedback
  • Gain trust and influence customer buying process with technical knowledge
  • Deliver product-specific training to the Sales organization
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends
  • Provide product portal (Bandwidth App) demos
  • Interface with Solutions Engineering specialists to manage sales opportunities

Requirements For Solutions Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field or related experience
  • 3+ years experience in telecom engineering and/or pre-sales engineering with customer-facing responsibility
  • In-depth understanding of SIP Voice inter-connection architecture, protocols, and implementation
  • Experience with Bandwidth APIs/SDKs
  • VoIP/telecom experience
  • Understanding of software architecture and API design
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence
  • Customer and field experience
