Description For Assistant Manager

Bank of America is seeking an Assistant Manager for their Environmental Data Solutions team within the Global Financial Control-Corporate Sustainability Controller organization. This critical role supports the calculation of asset level balance sheet Financed Emissions, contributing to the Bank's goal of achieving Net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The position involves building data sourcing processes, conducting data research and analytics, and developing reporting frameworks to support net zero progress alignment. Working within Global Business Services, you'll be part of a globally integrated delivery model focused on flawless execution and operational excellence. The role offers opportunities to partner with various stakeholders including the Enterprise Climate Program Office, Technology teams, and Lines of Business. You'll be responsible for data governance, analytics, and strategy implementation while working in a collaborative environment that values innovation and operational resilience. Responsibilities For Assistant Manager

  • Support net zero transition planning and execution
  • Research data requirements and produce executive level data summaries
  • Validate accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of datasets
  • Develop desktop procedures for BAU operations
  • Execute BAU processes and data controls
  • Analyze data and provide insights on data movements
  • Support ad hoc analytics of bank-wide and client net zero commitment implementation
  • Develop automated data analysis results

Requirements For Assistant Manager

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in data management or analytics, engineering, sustainability, finance or related field OR master's degree in relevant field
  • Deep expertise in SQL, Excel, Python, automation & optimization and project management
  • Knowledge of data architecture concepts, data models, ETL processes
  • Experience in multiple database environment such as Oracle, Hadoop, and Teradata
  • Strong documentation & presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability in motivating employees
  • Deep understanding of data processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, management, and teamwork skills
