Description For Portfolio Manager I/II-Global Renewable Energy Credit

Bank of America is seeking a Global Renewable Energy Credit Portfolio Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for credit administration, monitoring, review, and analysis for a designated portfolio of tax equity and debt project financings originated by the Global Sustainable Finance Group. The position involves working with distributed generation solar, fuel cell, EV, and storage projects.

The Portfolio Manager will have significant responsibilities including preparing periodic status reviews, risk rating scorecards, and ensuring compliance with Bank of America's Credit Policy guidelines. They will interact with Originators, Credit Underwriting, Risk Management, Engineering Support, Modeling and Legal officers while also maintaining client relationships for routine administration and project/financial performance discussions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in banking or finance, particularly in corporate credit, tax equity, or renewable energy. The role offers exposure to complex transactions and requires strong analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities For Portfolio Manager I/II-Global Renewable Energy Credit

  • Performs periodic project performance and financial reviews of transactions
  • Prepares and writes periodic status reviews and update risk rating scorecards
  • Monitors the credit profile of key transaction counterparties
  • Ensures compliance with the terms of and reporting requirements of transaction agreements
  • Evaluates and processes project related consent requests
  • Provides timely responses to inquiries on the portfolio from senior credit and risk management team members

Requirements For Portfolio Manager I/II-Global Renewable Energy Credit

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in banking or finance industry in corporate credit, tax equity, project finance and/or renewable energy
  • Ability to review, understand and interpret legal documentation of complex transactions
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple transactions or tasks at one time
  • Results oriented, and able to keep track of and meet deadlines
  • Ability to independently lead diligence efforts
  • Computer skills: proficient in Excel (Macros, VBA), Word and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related major
