Join Bank of America's Global Information Security (GIS) team within Cyber Security Technology (CST), a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation, architecture, engineering, and solutions development. As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of integrating security controls as code within cloud platforms. The role combines deep technical expertise in cloud security with strategic thinking to protect the bank's cloud infrastructure.
You'll work with cutting-edge technologies across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), implementing security controls and automating security processes using Infrastructure as Code. Responsibilities For Vice President, Senior Cloud Security Engineer, Global Information Security
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud environments
- Develop and integrate security controls as code across multiple cloud platforms
- Automate security processes using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Create rules scanning of Infrastructure as Code at deployment
- Automate detection and remediation of Non-Compliant Cloud Resources
- Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and regulatory obligations
- Communicate Cloud Security vision and roadmap to stakeholders
- Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain documentation of security controls and procedures
Requirements For Vice President, Senior Cloud Security Engineer, Global Information Security
- Significant experience in cybersecurity with focus on cloud security
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Go, Shell)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO)
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security)
- Experience integrating security controls as code
