The role of General Engineer - Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) Support is crucial for the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS). The position involves providing systems and software engineering services to support the integration, interoperability, and certification of Army systems and subsystems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) at Fort Hood, TX for AIC certifications
  • Designing and managing test architectures for AIC events
  • Troubleshooting system issues during certification tests
  • Analyzing and documenting test data
  • Preparing test plans and results

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Secret Security Clearance
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
  • 10 years of experience with Army combat vehicles, focusing on networking systems, C5ISR communications, and software certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in Network/C5ISR and automotive vehicle electrical/electronic systems
