With over 15 years of experience, they support federal customers across Intelligence, Analytics, Engineering, Mission Support, and Communications disciplines. The Systems Engineer role involves providing expertise in digital engineering environments and practices for the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS). This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, government offices, and industry partners to ensure successful system development, integration, testing, production, and fielding. The engineer will contribute to digital engineering strategies, technical management, and process improvements using advanced tools and methodologies. Responsibilities For Systems Engineer

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Digital Engineering Environments and practices
  • Collaborate with functional areas within the PM Office and external Government offices
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create models, simulations, and develop documentation
  • Manage design configurations and conduct system/sub-system/component integration and testing
  • Identify and resolve issues to ensure compliance with performance specifications
  • Assess system performance and recommend hardware, software, and data storage improvements
  • Deploy automated workflows for operational procedures within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system

Requirements For Systems Engineer

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years experience in analysis, development, evaluation, integration in a Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) tool, preferably Siemens Teams Center or similar software
  • Master's degree in related field may substitute for one year of general experience
