The Vehicle Electronics Engineer role involves providing high-level electrical engineering expertise for ground combat vehicles. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading efforts on emerging or fielded systems, subsystems, and components
- Performing engineering analysis, including electrical design reviews and risk analysis
- Conducting SWAP-C analysis, power management, and configuration management
- Analyzing hardware and software configurations and performance measurements
- Conducting obsolescence and sustainment reviews on electrical and electronic items
- Developing technical reports on potential technology insertions and system trade studies
- Supporting coordination activities for weapon systems integration and testing
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle electronics hardware design, development, integration, testing, and lifecycle management
- Knowledge of network, electronics hardware, communications, environmental, and combat vehicle standards
