Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer at Baseten, you'll be one of the first dedicated security hires, playing a crucial role in shaping the company's security strategy from the ground up. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cloud environments (AWS/GCP), container orchestration platforms, and modern security tools while implementing robust security measures for a rapidly growing ML infrastructure platform.

Your responsibilities will span across multiple critical areas including security architecture design, vulnerability management, incident response, IAM oversight, and compliance maintenance. You'll work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure the highest standards of security while maintaining system efficiency and reliability.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of security engineering experience, preferably in a startup environment, along with deep knowledge of cloud security and modern security tooling. You'll need strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and promote a security-first culture.
