Software Engineer - Fullstack (Core Product)

Baseten is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join their growing team backed by top-tier investors like IVP, Spark Capital, and Sarah Guo at Conviction. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll be responsible for building elegant systems and abstractions to simplify the complexities of shipping ML products. This role involves working on UI builders, ML model serving, and monitoring systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Shipping rich, interactive frontends (React + TypeScript experience is a plus)
• Building data-intensive interfaces and tools for technical audiences
• Establishing standards and best practices for developers
• Backend development using Python and Django
• Owning products and projects end-to-end, including PM responsibilities

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, motivated by customer problems, and able to make good judgments on technical tradeoffs. Experience with ML is not required, but openness to learning is essential.
