As a Product Engineer at Basetwo, you'll occupy a crucial client-facing technical role that bridges engineering expertise with customer success. You'll serve as both the internal engineering subject matter expert and the voice of our customers, leveraging your experience in pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing. Your role involves working directly with enterprise partners' process engineers to maximize the value they derive from the Basetwo platform.
The position offers a unique opportunity to shape product direction while working at the intersection of AI and manufacturing. You'll collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to identify new use cases and enhance platform capabilities. Your work will directly impact how major manufacturers optimize their processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities For Product Engineer
- Lead customer success initiatives and build relationships with customer champions
- Identify and implement high-impact use cases that expand Basetwo usage
- Train internal team on engineering & analytics methodologies
- Analyze existing process operations to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop presentations and visualizations for customer decision making
- Support custom data integrations
- Define data-driven processes for customer success management
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops and implementation support
Requirements For Product Engineer
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5-7+ years of engineering experience in pharmaceuticals, chemical manufacturing, and Oil and Gas
- Strong communication skills to translate complex technical content
- Experience with process data analysis, process flow diagrams, P&IDs
- Knowledge of enterprise historians (OSIsoft PI, Delta-V, Wonderware, GE Proficy)
- Programming experience in Python (asset)
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Passion for applying AI/ML to solve engineering challenges
