As a Machine Learning Engineer at Beam, you will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and deploying machine learning models that drive Beam's AI-Agents. Your responsibilities will focus on prompt engineering and model fine-tuning, leveraging advanced transformer models to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and efficiency. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building great products, has strong leadership skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions, supporting projects from concept to deployment.
• Contribute to research and prototyping by experimenting with machine learning models to solve specific tasks and enhance platform features.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, Product Owners, and Software Engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to creating technical specifications.
• Support the implementation and testing of APIs that integrate machine learning models and data processing components.
• Participate in the maintenance of ML infrastructure, tools, and frameworks to ensure the scalability and reliability of our AI solutions.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques and develop a foundational understanding of transformer models to support agent capabilities.
• Help monitor and evaluate AI model performance using relevant metrics, iterating on designs as needed under guidance from senior team members.
• Contribute to optimizing backend system performance to enhance the user experience.
• Stay updated on advancements in AI and machine learning, and actively participate in team knowledge-sharing sessions.
