Description For Mechanical Engineer

Bedrock Energy, founded in 2022, is revolutionizing the building heating and cooling industry through innovative geothermal energy solutions. As an early member of the Engineering team, you'll work directly with leadership, technology partners, and various engineers to develop technologies that scale geothermal heating and cooling. The role focuses on delivering integrated, intelligent, autonomous subsurface and construction equipment to enhance geo-field construction efficiency.

The position requires expertise in mechanical engineering, particularly in fluid systems, solid mechanics, tensile force analysis, and heat transfer. You'll be responsible for the complete mechanical design lifecycle, from concept to deployment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and operational engineers.

This is an opportunity to shape the future of sustainable building infrastructure while working with a funded startup backed by top climate and energy investors. The role combines hands-on engineering work with strategic thinking, requiring both technical expertise and the ability to contribute to the company's growing engineering culture and standards.
