Description For Engineer, Full Stack

Bedrock Security, the latest winner of the RSA Top 10 competition for most innovative startup, is revolutionizing how businesses protect data. As their latest investment, Greylock Partners (known for backing successful companies like Airbnb, Figma, and Palo Alto Networks) demonstrates their potential. They're seeking an experienced full stack engineer to help build their cloud security platform, focusing on creating an exceptional customer experience through their tech stack of GraphQL, Node, Go, React, and TypeScript.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work on both technical and entrepreneurial aspects, collaborating directly with leadership, customers, partners, and investors. The position requires working from their Bay Area office 3 days per week, with responsibilities spanning from setting technical direction to API schema definition and user experience advocacy.

The ideal candidate should bring 2+ years of full stack engineering experience, with expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node. They should possess strong opinions on design and code reviews, and be familiar with GraphQL API design and CI/CD practices. This role offers the chance to shape the future of data security and be part of a growing startup journey from ground zero to success.

What makes this opportunity special is the combination of technical challenges in security infrastructure and the ability to directly impact the product's direction. Working with a backed startup in the cybersecurity space provides excellent exposure and growth opportunities while solving meaningful problems in data protection.
