Senior Software Engineer - Tenant Lifecycle

Benchling is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Tenant Lifecycle team. This role involves building the platform and tooling for managing Benchling deployments end-to-end. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering, with a focus on platform development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning projects from initial design to large-scale rollout
• Developing core platform components for scalability and data integrity
• Designing and implementing backend models and API endpoints
• Working closely with cross-functional teams
• Helping scale the product and team
• Designing and implementing rich frontend components
• Providing mentorship and driving improvements in engineering processes

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, a product-first approach, and enthusiasm for tackling complex technical challenges in the life sciences domain. The candidate should be willing to work out of the SF office 3 days a week.
