Propulsion Systems Engineer - Systems

We are seeking a Propulsion Systems Engineer - Systems to join our team in South Burlington, VT. The ideal candidate should have an engineering degree in a relevant discipline and 5+ years of experience in aerospace system or aircraft development, including complex electronics and software. You should be comfortable collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform propulsion System and Component requirements development and validation
• Conduct system integration activities
• Plan, coordinate, and execute verification activities with various engineering disciplines
• Contribute to establishing, managing, and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, aircraft, and system-level requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience with development of requirements-based testing for complex electronic systems
• Proficiency working within a structured development process
• Familiarity with modern workspace tools (Slack, Google Suite, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in development and life cycle data management of complex aerospace systems (ARP4754A/B, DO-178C, DO-331)
• Familiarity with Mathworks' tools (Matlab, Simulink) for model-based development
• Experience with Title 14 CFR parts 23, 25, 27, 29, or 33
• Exposure to motor control, inverter design, and embedded control systems
