Description For Senior Full-Stack Engineer

BetterUp is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their Business Systems team. This role is crucial in enabling BetterUp teams to deliver maximum value to members, partners, and coaches by architecting, engineering, and enhancing products, services, and tools. The position also involves enabling BetterUp's FedRAMP offering and refining the overall system used by the engineering organization to accelerate development on the federal platform.

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will:

  1. Lead: Plan and execute complex projects, prioritize strategically, and solve strategic problems holistically.
  2. Craft: Deliver high-quality, maintainable code and stay aware of industry trends.
  3. Empower: Enable team members with data systems and processes, and create documentation for efficient onboarding.
  4. Mentor: Guide engineers at all levels and contribute to an effective, inclusive engineering culture.
  5. Collaborate: Influence product decisions using data and build strong partnerships across the organization.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Alignment with BetterUp's mission of enabling self-driven behavior change

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a startup/remote environment
  • 7+ years of relevant technical experience
  • Expertise in building enterprise applications (Ruby on Rails, Ember.js, AWS)
  • Experience with FedRAMP-compliant systems
  • Knowledge of Agile product development processes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
