Responsibilities For Compliance Engineer - Hardware

  • Own certification activities and risk analysis for new product development projects
  • Provide regulatory expertise to product development teams
  • Lead certification submission and compliance efforts for domestic and international regulations
  • Manage communication with regulatory and certification bodies
  • Establish project needs and deliverables
  • Evaluate compliance and certification project risk
  • Maintain certification path and provide regulatory review

Requirements For Compliance Engineer - Hardware

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline
  • 5-7 years of compliance or design related experience
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (North America and EU)
  • Experience with DFMEA sessions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Independent work capability with moderate supervision
